Friends/Allies: Most Slytherins, Fred, George, Harry, Hermione, Neville, Cedric. Current Love Interest: None (but has a bit of a crush on the twins). Pet(s)/Familiar: An owl named Morrigan Sexual Orientation: Thinks she is straight but is actually bisexual (she does prefer boys) Personality: Pansy can come across as cold and aloof to someone who doesn't know her, but that's really due to her innate shyness. She's actually quite friendly underneath her tough exterior, and her friends are the only ones who see the 'real' her. Strengths: Cares deeply for her family and friends, very intelligent and imaginative, knows how to get her own way. Weaknesses: Can appear cold and bitchy to those who don't know her, too shy for her own good sometimes, gets bored easily. Likes: Her friends, George and Fred, the colour green, fashion, reading, writing. Dislikes: Stupid people, people who dismiss others without giving them a fair chance, the fact that she's really shy, practical jokes at her expense. Habits: Pansy is always checking her appearance in any reflective surface she can find, rolls her eyes when bored, speaks quite formally and does not use contractions, and will hum to herself when she is nervous. History: Pansy Parkinson was born on 8 November 1979 to Cuthbert and Honoria Parkinson, the only child of a Pureblood arranged marriage. Her father was hoping for a boy, and was disappointed that Pansy was a girl. They tried to have a second child, but Honoria was unable to conceive again, which Cuthbert took out on both her and Pansy. She grew up in a Pureblooded home of wealth and status, not knowing anything else existed. She had the best of everything that money could buy, and acquired some very expensive tastes as a result. The one thing Pansy lacked, however, was her father's love. He was a cold and distant man, and Pansy felt like she had to parrot him for him to even notice her. When Pansy was nine, her father died suddenly, and her Aunt Prudence moved in with her and her mother. It was this influence that caused Pansy to realise there was a whole other world out there. Prudence was tolerant of everyone, no matter their blood status (Honoria was as well, but was afraid to express her true beliefs around her husband), and Pansy decided that this was what she wished to be like. Along with her friendships with Fred Weasley and Blaise Zabini, she reevaluated the things that her father had taught her and made her own choices. Once Pansy arrived at Hogwarts, the Sorting Hat wavered between Slytherin and Ravenclaw for her before finally settling on Slytherin, and is friendly with her housemates. She has always been mature for her age, yet still knows how to have fun. Fred Weasley introduced her to his twin brother, George, and their circle of friends; and Pansy realised that this was where she truly fit in. She knows this is not the popular thing to do in Slytherin, but she really does not care about that. She believes that one benefits more from friendships than having enemies.
